In a spectacular display of talent, creativity and cultural abundance, The Cambridge School
celebrated its 18th Annual Winter Fest/ End of Year programme on 14th November, 2024 at
Uttam Manch. Like every year, TCS students, parents and faculty members actively
collaborated to create an evening filled with delightful performances and heartwarming
moments.
The event commenced with the Principal, Mrs Sunita Chowdhary’s keynote address to the
audience. In her speech, Mrs Chowdhary wished all our children a very Happy Childrens’ Day
and spoke about how the innovative curriculum and an extensive package of co-curricular
activities are continually helping the students of TCS achieve academic excellence every
year.
Following her speech, Mrs Chowdhary warmly welcomed the celebrated journalist and
novelist, Mr Sandip Roy who was the honoured chief guest for the evening. She also spoke at
length about Mr Roy’s contribution in the field of journalism and requested Mr Roy to say a
few words and award the prizes and scholarships to the meritorious students before the start
of the show.
The welcome speeches and the prize distribution being over, the much-awaited End of Year
Fest proceeded with the student performances, the first one being an exuberant adaptation
of ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’, by the little students of Junior School, Classes Nursery to II.
Following this, Middle School students of Classes III to VII transported the audience to a
fantastic land of magic through their heartwarming rendition of “The Wizard of Oz” by L.
